Mwaura Benedict Njuguna is a founding partner of the firm and heads the Real Estate Sales & Purchases Division of the Conveyancing and Property Law Department, alongside commercial/corporate law, family law, tax, banking, and corporate finance law. He has extensive experience in the conversion, amalgamation, and subdivision of properties, structuring real estate projects, residential developments, commercial leases, and extensions of term on land.
He advises on a wide range of commercial arrangements, including agreements for privatization of companies, initial public offers, tax advisory, incorporation of local companies, registration of foreign branches, insolvency and liquidation, and mergers and acquisitions. He has rich experience helping clients adopt efficient tax structures, and advises on family law and succession, representing clients before specialized tribunals and Superior Courts in Kenya.
He holds a Bachelor of Laws from Moi University and a Diploma in Law from the Kenya School of Law, and is a seasoned Advocate of the High Court of Kenya, having previously worked with A.S. Kuloba and Company Advocates. He is a Commissioner of Oaths and Notary Public.
